Location: Manchester, California, USA
Comments: These were growing on and around a cow patty. Caps up to 5.0cm across and brown spores.

I was tempted to name these Agrocybe pediades var. platysperma based on the reference in MD because the spores appeared larger than that listed for A. pediades. They were ~13.0-14.0 X 8.0-8.9 microns and truncate(germ pore). However, it was not listed in the Name Index nor in Index Fungorum although the later does list an Agrocybe platysperma. Could not find any descriptions for it however.
