West Ham är en stadsdel (district) i östra London. Det utgör den västra delen av kommunen London Borough of Newham. Fotbollslaget West Ham United kommer ifrån stadsdelen. I orten finns en stor järnvägs- och tunnelbanestation för Hammersmith & City line, District line, Jubilee line samt järnvägslinjer på National Rail och Docklands Light Railway med namnet West Ham. Stationen invigdes 1901 och är en stor knutpunkt

Jubilee and North London Lines at West Ham. The left hand train (unit 96105) is on the Jubilee line westbound (at this point actually southbound). To the right is a Silverlink train (electric unit no 313119) on the North London Line heading for North Woolwich, a service that ceased at the end of the same year. It is now operated by DLR trains.
