Finalen av Uefacupen 1981/1982 bestod av två fotbollsmatcher, som spelades den 5 och 19 maj 1982 mellan IFK Göteborg från Sverige och Hamburger SV från Västtyskland. IFK Göteborg vann turneringen[1] och blev som första nordiska klubb mästare i en europeisk cup i fotboll efter sammanlagt 4-0.
I den första matchen, på ett regndränkt Nya Ullevi, gjorde Tord Holmgren matchens enda mål efter att i slutminuterna ha blivit framnickad av Glenn Hysén. I match två chockade Göteborg hemmalaget genom Corneliussons mål efter ett skruvat, långt inlägg av Tommy Holmgren i matchminut 26. Corneliusson sköt bollen hårt upp i nättaket från målområdet, utan chans för målvakten Stein. I andra halvlek kontrade sedan Torbjörn Nilsson in 2-0 genom att i friläge med vänsterfoten bredsida in bollen i målvaktens vänstra hörn. Stig Fredriksson avslutade målskyttet genom att placera in en straff (hans femte i turneringen), mitt i målet, sedan nämnde Nilsson fällts i straffområdet.
