- ^ Det kom senare fram att matchen mellan Anderlecht och Nottingham Forest skall ha varit uppgjord, och domaren skal ha erbjudits mutor. Den belgiska klubbens ordförande skall ha betalat honom totalt £27,000. En ifrågasatt straffspark tilldelades Anderlecht, medan ett mål av Nottingham Forest kontroversiellt underkändes.[1]
