UK Championship 1992 (Royal Liver Assurance UK Championship[1]) var en rankingturnering i snooker som spelades mellan 13 och 29 november 1992 i Guild Hall i Preston, England. Jimmy White vann turneringen efter att ha slagit regerande mästaren John Parrott i finalen med 16-9.
Händelser i samband med turneringen
- Turneringen markerade något av ett generationsskifte; flera blivande världsmästare gjorde debut detta år: Mark Williams, Ken Doherty, Peter Ebdon och Ronnie O'Sullivan. Dessutom blivande rankingtitelvinnarna Stephen Lee, Chris Small och Fergal O'Brien.
- Peter Ebdon gjorde ett maximumbreak, dock i de tidiga skedena av turneringen, som inte TV-sändes.
- Detta var Jimmy Whites enda UK-seger. Däremot var det hans andra rankingtitel i rad, han hade vunnit Grand Prix föregående månad.
- Årets final var den sista som spelades över 31 frames och två dagar.
