Transeuropeiska nät
Transeuropeiska nät (TEN) är ett infrastrukturnät inom Europeiska unionen.[1] Det består av tre delar: det transeuropeiska transportnätet (TEN-T), det transeuropeiska telenätet (eTEN) och det transeuropeiska energinätet (TEN-E). Projekt som syftar till att bygga ut infrastrukturen inom de transeuropeiska näten kan erhålla ekonomiskt stöd från unionen. Syftet är att stödja projekt som knyter samman Europa och bidrar till europeisk integration.
Mellan 1995 och 2020 finansierades 30 utvalda projekt som totalt kostade 225 miljarder euro, varav upp till 20 procent finansierades av unionen. Ett av de större projekten som ingår i TEN är Öresundsbron, som är avsedd att underlätta trafik mellan Danmark och Sverige. Även Svinesundsbron, Citytunneln i Malmö och i viss mån några väg- och järnvägsprojekt Stockholm-Malmö, Stockholm-norska gränsen och Malmö-norska gränsen har fått bidrag från detta program.
Det transeuropeiska energinätet omfattar handel med el och gas medan det transeuropeiska telenät omfattar samarbete kring telekommunikation.
Transeuropeiska nät är ett av Europeiska unionens befogenhetsområden. Unionen har delad befogenhet med medlemsstaterna att lagstifta på området.

The Flag of Europe is the flag and emblem of the European Union (EU) and Council of Europe (CoE). It consists of a circle of 12 golden (yellow) stars on a blue background. It was created in 1955 by the CoE and adopted by the EU, then the European Communities, in the 1980s.
The CoE and EU are distinct in membership and nature. The CoE is a 47-member international organisation dealing with human rights and rule of law, while the EU is a quasi-federal union of 27 states focused on economic integration and political cooperation. Today, the flag is mostly associated with the latter.
It was the intention of the CoE that the flag should come to represent Europe as a whole, and since its adoption the membership of the CoE covers nearly the entire continent. This is why the EU adopted the same flag. The flag has been used to represent Europe in sporting events and as a pro-democracy banner outside the Union.
