Sybil Lorina Bauer, född 18 september 1903 i Chicago, död 31 januari 1927 i Chicago, var en amerikansk simmare.

Bauer blev olympisk guldmedaljör på 100 meter ryggsim vid sommarspelen 1924 i Paris.[1]

Chicago Girl Swimmer Breaks Five Worlds Records. Miss Sybil Bauer, star Mermaid of the Chicago A. C., who created four new world's records and one New American record at the Brighton Beach Pool on July 4th. She lowered the marks for 50 yards, 200 yards, 200 meters, and 220 yards. The fifty yard swim was negotiated in 34 and 2-5 seconds, or 4-5's better than the previous mark. Two hundred yards was timed in 2 minutes 51 and 4-5 seconds, two hundred meters in 3 minutes, 6 and 4-5 seconds and the 220 yards in 3 minutes, 7 and 4-5 seconds.
