Spirula spirula[3][4][5][2] är en bläckfiskart som först beskrevs av Carl von Linné 1758. Spirula spirula är enda arten i släktet Spirula, familjen Spirulidae och ordningen Spirulida.[6][7][8] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som livskraftig.[1] Det är osäkert om arten förekommer i Sverige.[8] Inga underarter finns listade.[6]
