Noter
- ^ Metaxas har allmänt krediteras med en bronsmedalj, dock så hölls ingen utslagsmatch. Den officiella matchrapporten från 1908 på sid. 280 listas Metaxas som delad trea med Maunder och att båda blivit tilldelade bronsmedaljen. Däremot verkar Metaxas inte i IOC:s medaljdatabas, som endast listar Maunder som bronsmedaljör. Vissa källor följer denna databas.
