Sistan och Baluchistan (persiska: سيستان و بلوچستان, Sistan va Baluchestan) är en provins i sydöstra Iran. Den har 2 775 014 invånare (2016),[2] på en yta av 181 785km².[1] Administrativ huvudort är Zahedan. Andra större städer är Iranshahr och Zabol.

Provinsen gränsar i syd till Omanviken, i öst Pakistan, i norr Afghanistan och provinsen Sydkhorasan och i väst provinserna Kerman och Hormozgan. Den är till ytan den största provinsen i landet.

Det har förekommit strider och bombningar i området. En sunnitisk grupp som kallar sig för Folkets motståndsrörelse i Iran (tidigare Jundallah) har utfört attentat mot regeringens styrkor. Grupperingen anser att de kämpar mot orättvisan sunniter får uppleva i landet. Majoriteten i Iran är shiiter. Regeringen i Iran påstår att Jundallah stöttas av bland annat USA och al-Qaida.

Flag of Iran. The tricolor flag was introduced in 1906, but after the Islamic Revolution of 1979 the Arabic words 'Allahu akbar' ('God is great'), written in the Kufic script of the Qur'an and repeated 22 times, were added to the red and green strips where they border the white central strip and in the middle is the emblem of Iran (which is a stylized Persian alphabet of the Arabic word Allah ("God")).
The official ISIRI standard (translation at FotW) gives two slightly different methods of construction for the flag: a compass-and-straightedge construction used for File:Flag of Iran (official).svg, and a "simplified" construction sheet with rational numbers used for this file.
