San Marinos Grand Prix 2005 var det fjärde av 19 lopp ingående i formel 1-VM 2005.
Rapport
Fernando Alonso, Renault, vann 0,2 sekunder före Michael Schumacher, Ferrari, som körde upp från den 13:e startplatsen.
Jenson Button, BAR-Honda, som kom trea, misstänktes ha kört med en för lätt bil då bränsletanken tömts, trots att funtionärerna ansåg att bilen var reglementsenlig under loppet. FIA var dock inte nöjda med funktionärernas utlåtande, varför ärendet togs upp av International Court of Appeal i Paris. Button bedömdes ha haft en felaktig bil, varför båda BAR-bilarna diskvalificerades, vilket alltså även drabbade Takuma Sato. BAR blev också avstängda från deltagande i det två efterföljande loppen, Spaniens Grand Prix 2005 och Monacos Grand Prix 2005.
Ralf Schumacher, Toyota, som kom åtta hamnade istället på elfte plats efter att ha fått 25 sekunder tidstillägg för en farlig manöver i depåområdet. Toyotas depåpersonal släppte iväg tysken alldeles framför nosen på Nick Heidfelds Williams-BMW efter ett stopp. Efter att Button och Sato diskvalificerats slutade Ralf Schumacher på nionde plats. Anledningen att Toyotastallet inte överklagade var att de hade deltagit utan tävlingslicens och därför riskerade att bli diskvalificerade från säsongens fyra första lopp.

The Flag of Europe is the flag and emblem of the European Union (EU) and Council of Europe (CoE). It consists of a circle of 12 golden (yellow) stars on a blue background. It was created in 1955 by the CoE and adopted by the EU, then the European Communities, in the 1980s.
The CoE and EU are distinct in membership and nature. The CoE is a 47-member international organisation dealing with human rights and rule of law, while the EU is a quasi-federal union of 27 states focused on economic integration and political cooperation. Today, the flag is mostly associated with the latter.
It was the intention of the CoE that the flag should come to represent Europe as a whole, and since its adoption the membership of the CoE covers nearly the entire continent. This is why the EU adopted the same flag. The flag has been used to represent Europe in sporting events and as a pro-democracy banner outside the Union.
