Utanför Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, ett par kilometer från invasionskusten, finns minnesmärket Sømanden, en skulptur i brons av Sven Lindhart. Den restes 1984 för att ihågkomma de danska sjömän, som deltagit på de allierades sida i andra världskriget.
