Rhizocarpon subgeminatum är en lavart[1] som beskrevs av Eitner. Rhizocarpon subgeminatum ingår i släktet Rhizocarpon och familjen Rhizocarpaceae.[2][3] Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[4] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[2]

I den svenska databasen Dyntaxa[5] används istället namnet Rhizocarpon suomiense för samma taxon. Arten är reproducerande i Sverige.[5]
