Platon är en nedslagskrater på månens yta fylld med stelnad lava, vid 51,6 graders nordlig latitud, intill Mare Imbrium.
Kratern är 109 kilometer i diameter, en kilometer djup och är cirka 3480 miljoner år (bara något yngre än Mare Imbrium).
Kratern är uppkallad efter den grekiske filosofen och matematikern Platon.
