Northern Ireland Trophy 2008 var en professionell rankingturnering i snooker som ägde rum 24-31 augusti 2008 i Belfast, Nordirland. Turneringen var därmed den första rankingtävlingen på snookertouren säsongen 2008/2009.
Kvalturneringen ägde rum tidigare i augusti, men den sista kvalomgången spelades som en del i huvudturneringen. De 16 segrarna i den sista kvalomgången ställdes sedan mot de 16 högst rankade spelarna, som var direktkvalificerade till turneringen. Stephen Maguire var förstaseedad, eftersom han vann turneringen året innan. Världsettan Ronnie O'Sullivan var seedad som nummer två.
Turneringen vanns av Ronnie O'Sullivan, som i finalen besegrade Dave Harold. O'Sullivan blev genom segern den förste spelare på fyra år att vinna två raka rankingtitlar. Överraskningen Dave Harold nådde sin första final sedan 1994.
