This genus isn't covered by the 1896 flora, but there is a photo on chileflora.com which is *very* similar... except that photo clearly shows a lack of appendages on the back of the sepals..jpg)

This genus isn't covered by the 1896 flora, but there is a photo on chileflora.com which is *very* similar... except that photo clearly shows a lack of appendages on the back of the sepals. See comment by Jubaea, too. I can't find find images of the sepals of M. tricolor. It looks like these might all belong in Calandrinia, now, as well.
