Vidkun Quisling og hans kone Maria..jpg
Författare/Upphovsman: Riksarkivet (National Archives of Norway) from Oslo, Norway, Licens: No restrictions
Photograph of Vidkun Quisling (1887-1945), leader of the Norwegian Nazi party Nasjonal Samling (NS) from 1933 and collaborator during World War II in German-occupied Norway (1940-1945), and his second wife, the Russian/Ukrainian born Maria (1900-1980). The picture was likely taken in connection with NS's major national rally in Stavanger in July 1935 or the road trip there, which included several events along the way. The couple married in Ukraine in 1923 and had no children. Quisling was executed after the war.
