Lygaeoidea[1] är en överfamilj av insekter. Lygaeoidea ingår i ordningen halvvingar, klassen egentliga insekter, fylumet leddjur och riket djur.[1] Enligt Catalogue of Life omfattar överfamiljen Lygaeoidea 594 arter[1].

Found among raspberries picked in early August, 2006, in Concord, MA, USA. Its kin in the basket was identified at https://www.flickr.com/photos/gremio/243796552/ by https://www.flickr.com/photos/43286368@N00/ and I verified that this was also a stilt bug using images at http://bugguide.net/node/view/89, and http://www.entomology.umn.edu/museum/links/coursefiles/JPEG%20images/Hemiptera%20web%20jpeg/Pentatomomorpha/Berytidae.jpg as well as google image search. I wonder if this isn't a juvenile, given its lack of fully developed wings.

Not a Lygaeidae either (ocelli lacking), should probably be a Largidae or Pyrrhocoridae - consult an expert from the region for proper ID. Moving to Lygaeoidea for now.

I don't think this is a Reduviid. It lacks the characteristic "collar" behind the head. Notice, there don't appear to be any raptorial forelimbs either. At a glance, it looks more like a member of the family Lygaeidae (seed bugs).
Not a Lygaeidae either (ocelli lacking), should probably be a Largidae or Pyrrhocoridae - consult an expert from the region for proper ID. Moving to Lygaeoidea for now.
