Los Angeles borgmästare (engelska: Mayor of the City of Los Angeles) är en folkvald befattning som i enlighet med den amerikanska delstaten Kaliforniens lagar och stadens stadga (engelska: city charter) utövar den högsta verkställande makten i Los Angeles stadsstyre.[2]
Borgmästaren innehar all verkställande makt i stadsstyret såvida inte stadens stadga eller Kaliforniens lagar explicit tilldelar någon annan specifika befogenheter.[2] Till staden hör 44 förvaltningar och byråer, vars chefer utnämns av borgmästaren med godkännande av fullmäktigeförsamlingen Los Angeles City Council.[3] Två av dessa förvaltningar är den lokala polisen, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) och stadens brandkår och räddningstjänst, Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).
Karen Bass är Los Angeles borgmästare sedan 12 december 2022.

Assemblyman Sam Yorty, chairman of the "little Dies committee" which questioned members of the Los Angeles County State Relief Administration (S.R.A.) on charges of Communist activity. The hearings lasted only one day and ended with a recommendation that action be taken against some of the witnesses for perjury, but no one was immediately fired.
Portrait of Thomas E. Rowan, born in New York State in 1842. Came to San Francisco with his parents in 1858 and to Los Angeles in 1860. Here his father opened the American Bakery. Thomas obtained a position with I. W. Hellman, who had a general merchandise store on the corner of Commercial and Main Streets, where the Farmers & Merchants National Bank stood so long. Entered the Pacific Union Express, later its head, which suspended and was taken over by the Wells, Fargo & Co. Express. He then went into the Hellmans' bank serving there until elected to public office, filling several different ones, including Mayor of Los Angeles from 1892-1894. He died on March 25, 1901.

He is dressed in a three-piece suit and is wearing a cravat. Born 1802 in Yucatan, Mexico, he came to Los Angeles in 1834. He was the first county recorder and on the first board of county supervisors (1852).

- Historical Notes: Alexander closed the vice district for the first time in the city's history. After the bombing of the Los Angeles Times building in 1910, he hired the famous detective William J. Burns to investigate. Also during his tenure, the districts of Wilmington, San Pedro and Hollywood were consolidated into the city and the Owens River Aqueduct was completed.
