Enligt Catalogue of Life[1] ingår Lecideaceae i ordningen Lecideales, klassen Lecanoromycetes, divisionen sporsäcksvampar och riket svampar,[1] men enligt Dyntaxa[2] är tillhörigheten istället klassen Lecanoromycetes, divisionen sporsäcksvampar och riket svampar.[2]
