The Railway station of Lahti, Finland. Building: The railway station was build by using dark bricks as the other biggest railway stations in the 1930s in Finland like the railway station of Tampere. The difference between the railway stations in Lahti and Tampere is, that there are only two floors in Lahti (in Tampere theree) and there is not tower in the railway station like in Tampere. Built: 1935, the architect was Thure Hellström, who worked for the Finnish railways as a regular architect. The Finnish railways had had own architects since the 1870s
