Kuru, fornindiskt rike 1100-500 f.Kr.. Städerna Hastinapur och Indraprashta ska vara grundade under detta rike, som var beläget i den västra delen av Gangesdalen. Riket kan vara identiskt med kaurava, en av de kämpande dynastierna i Mahabharata.
