Gu Yong-Ju, född den 17 juli 1955,[1] död i mars 2001,[2] var en nordkoreansk boxare som tog OS-guld i bantamviktsboxning 1976 i Montréal. I finalen besegrade Gu Charles Mooney från USA med 5-0.

Internationales Boxturnier um den Chemiepokal 1980 - Im Bantamgewicht besiegte Olympiasieger Jo Jong Gu (KDVR-r.) nach einer mäßigen Leistung den zu viel Respekt zeigenden Frankfurter Ulf Graf am 27.3. nach Punkten. Der Koreaner erreichte durch diesen Erfolg das Halbfinale, in dem er am 28.3. auf den Kubaner Jesus Sollet trifft.
