Formel 1-VM 1951 hade åtta deltävlingar som kördes under perioden 27 maj-28 oktober. Här ingick Indianapolis 500-loppet 1951 som en av deltävlingarna. Förarmästerskapet vanns av argentinaren Juan Manuel Fangio i Alfa Romeo.
