Fordingbridge är en småstad och civil parish i grevskapet Hampshire i södra England. Staden ligger i distriktet New Forest, cirka 16 kilometer söder om Salisbury. Tätorten (built-up area) hade 4 947 invånare vid folkräkningen år 2021.[2][3] Fordingbridge nämndes i Domedagsboken (Domesday Book) år 1086, och kallades då Forde.[4]

Centre of Fordingbridge This is the junction of Provost Street (left), Shaftesbury Street (ahead) and High Street (right) that can be regarded as the town centre. The Ship Inn probably indicates a time when the River Avon was navigable as far as the town, and the town name clearly indicates that this was the ford and later the bridge over the river.
