Floridablanca är en kommun och stad i Colombia.[1] Den ligger i departementet Santander, i den norra delen av landet, 290 km norr om huvudstaden Bogotá. Antalet invånare i kommunen är 254 683.[1] Arean är 101 kvadratkilometer.
Kommuen ingår i Bucaramangas storstadsområde och centralorten hade 248 461 invånare år 2008.[2]

The flag consists of "a single green band, meaning of wealth and fertile land, consecrated and since the memorable days when it was known as the Hacienda Palmita or Black Hand, and under the hope that Florideñas accompanying people"... "The flag carried on the king star center the object of adoration of Guane culture that prevailed in this region and as a symbol of progress in this municipality". The Guane Sun's image is engraved on the eastern side of the Sun Stone. Was adopted by Decree 003 of 4 November 1977, with Mayor Carmen Cecilia Pérez Gómez.

Creado mediante el decreto número 085 del 7 de noviembre de 1977, para honrar y perpetuar en la memoria de los floridablanqueños el origen del nombre del Municipio de Floridablanca, la alcaldesa Carmen Cecilia Pérez Gómez adoptó como escudo de la ciudad el del conde de Floridablanca, don José Moñino, el cual lleva impreso en una cinta blanca la frase en latín 'Potius mori quam foe bari', que significa 'Es mejor morir que mancillar'.
