Europeiska cupvinnarcupen 1979/1980 vanns av Valencia, Spanien som i finalen slog Arsenal, England i straffsparksläggning efter en mållös match. Det var enda gången Europeiska cupvinnarcupen avgjordes på straffsparkar, och var Valencias tredje slutseger i en europeisk turnering, tidigare hade man vunnit Uefacupen två gånger.
