Guldet togs av italienske Yemaneberhan Crippa efter ett lopp på 1 timme, 1 minut och 3 sekunder, vilket blev ett nytt mästerskapsrekord. Silvret togs av Crippas landsman Pietro Riva och bronset togs av tyske Amanal Petros.
