Eighth Avenue Line är en av New Yorks tunnelbanas linjer som går från Lower Manhattan och norrut till Inwood – 207th Street i Inwood, Manhattan. Första samt största delen av Eighth Avenue Line invigdes 1932 mellan Chambers Street och 207th Street i norr. Linjen avlastade Broadway – Seventh Avenue Line från 1904 som även den går på Manhattans västra sida. Flera av linjens stationer ligger vid Central Park. En del av linjen går till World Trade Center som förstördes under 11 september-attackerna men stationen klarade sig undan skador. Lokaltåg stannar på de mindre och stora stationerna och expresståg endast på de större stationerna. [1]

World Trade Center station at the IND Eighth Avenue Line. Since the 1990s, renovation took place all over the system providing new fluorescent lights and cleanliness. Trains are kept graffiti-free, floors have been tiled. However, low height and the resulting bad ventilation could not be removed.

The original syntax of Wikipedia:Route diagram templates filled all empty spaces in a diagram with this file (all BSicons were 20x20px). For those cells where an icon ID was provided, some "File:BSicon_ID.svg" were used, and where there was no ID, "File:BSicon_.svg" was substituted. Many major Wikipedias has since upgraded the syntax so that just an empty table cell is used (incl. En.WP).
