Dropptaggsvamp (även Röddroppig taggsvamp[2]; Hydnellum ferrugineum[3]) är en oätlig korktaggsvamp inom familjen Bankeraceae.[4][5][1] Arten återfinns oftast i barrskogsmiljöer och är reproducerande i Sverige.[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[4]

Arten beskrevs först av Elias Fries, och fick sitt nu gällande vetenskapliga namn av Petter Adolf Karsten år 1879[6].

Skarp dropptaggsvamp är en annan korktaggsvampsart, som är mycket lik dropptaggsvamp.
