Clavius är en krater och bergsformation på månen. Det är en av de största på månen och den näst största på den synliga sidan. Kratern namngavs efter jesuitprästen Christopher Clavius.[1]
Det är också platsen för en påhittad månbas i romanen (och filmatiseringen därav) 2001 – En rymdodyssé.[2]
