Chelsea FC 2007/2008
Chelsea FC nådde final i Champions League för första gången under 2007/2008 års säsong, trots turbulensen som följde när José Mourinho överraskande sparkades under hösten. Avram Grant tog över, och lyckades uppnå det enda Mourinho aldrig lyckats med under sina tre år i klubben. Väl i finalen förlorade Chelsea mot Manchester United efter straffsparkar. John Terry hade chansen att avgöra, men halkade och sköt utanför. När även Nicolas Anelka missade sin straff kunde United vinna.
