Budleigh Salterton: The Octagon The easternmost building in Fore Street, with a self-explanatory name. The blue plaque states that it was while staying here in 1870 that Sir John Everett Millais, P.R.A., painted his famous picture, 'The Boyhood of Raleigh'.
