Broadway – Seventh Avenue Line är en av New Yorks tunnelbanelinjer som går från Lower Manhattan och norrut till 215th Street i Inwood på Manhattan, linjen fortsätter sedan vidare till Van Cortlandt Park – 242nd Street i Bronx. En del av linjen tillhör New Yorks första tunnelbana som öppnade 1904, nämligen sträckan från Times Square – 42nd Street till 157th Street. Stationen Cortlandt Street förstördes under 11 september-attackerna mot World Trade Center, men återöppnades 2018 med namnet WTC Cortlandt. Lokaltåg stannar på alla stationer och expresståg endast på de större. Från stationen 96th Street utgår den korta Lenox Avenue Line mot Harlem – 148th Street.[1]

This is the "empty element" of the Icons for railway descriptions (see there for further informations). The original syntax of Wikipedia:Route diagram templates filled all empty spaces in a diagram with this file (all BSicons were 20x20px). For those cells where an icon ID was provided, some "File:BSicon_ID.svg" were used, and where there was no ID, "File:BSicon_.svg" was substituted. Many major Wikipedias has since upgraded the syntax so that just an empty table cell is used (incl. En.WP).

The map shows lines from the IRT Broadway-Seventh Avenue Line (in red) and of the IRT Lexington Avenue Line (in green). The IRT 42nd Street Shuttle is in grey, and corresponds to the horizontal bar of the "H". End stations are also mentioned.
Originally, only dark red and dark green sections were completed between 1904 and 1908. Light red and light green sections were subsequently added and were put into service on August 1, 1918, thus joining the two halves of the Broadway – Seventh Avenue Line.
