The Gouvernail de la corse near Bonifacio, a headland at the southwestrn tip of the Ile de Fazzio, a peninsula at the southern coast of Corsica. The rocks in the cliff consist of Early Miocene (Langhian) tide-influenced calcarenites and calcareous litharenites and are lithostratigraphically assigned to the Bonifacio Formation. They clearly show different kinds of crossbedding.
