Blazon:„Argent, supporting a narrow chief Or, an armed and langued gules bear rampant sable, in the claws an escutcheon per bend sable and Argent, supporting a narrow chief Or.“
The arms were granted on June 13, 1960. The arms are a combination of a canting bear and the arms of the Lords of Nopping. The latter family ruled the town in the Middle Ages and their toms are still present in the local church.
