Austal Ships
Austal Ships är ett skeppsvarv i Fremantle i Australien. Bolaget grundades 1988 och har idag cirka 2 400 anställda. Bolagets aktier är noterade på börsen Australian Securities Exchange.
Produktionen är inriktad på medelstora fartyg för civilt och militärt bruk. Den civila produktionen består främst av färjor och passagerarfartyg. Militär produktion är framförallt inriktad på patrullbåtar och trupptransportfartyg.
Austal har tre varv. Krigsfartyg konstrueras och byggs i Henderson i Västaustralien och Mobile i Alabama i USA. Civila fartyg byggs i Balamban på Cebu i Filippinerna,

The U.S. Navy littoral combat ship USS Independence (LCS-2) arrives at Mole Pier at Naval Air Station Key West, Florida (USA), on 29 March 2010. Independence was on the way to Norfolk, Virginia (USA), for commencement of initial testing and evaluation of the aluminum vessel before sailing to its homeport in San Diego, California (USA).

HSC Leonora Christina in Ystad, Sweden, on August 7, 2018. She was built in 2011 by Austal in Perth, Australia, for BornholmerFærgen. She was sold to Fred. Olsen Express in April 2017, although the transfer did not take place until the September 2018. She was renamed as Betancuria Express and operated by the Canary Islands ferry company Fred. Olsen Express on the route between Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura.
