Apothecium
Apothecium är en typ av fruktkropp som förekommer hos sporsäckssvampar och lavar.
Hos de flesta arter är den kudd-, skiv- eller skålformigt öppen. Hos murklor och tryfflar har däremot apothecierna blivit kraftigt förändrade.

This specimen of Lecanora pulicaris was growing on bark near the Endless Mountain Retreat, south on County Road 601, approximately 2.4 miles from US 250 in Highland County, Virginia, USA.
Spot tests on the thallus: PD+ red, K+ yellow, C-.
