West Street, Scunthorpe. Boarded-up properties on West Street probably scheduled for demolition. This is a fairly central location and I would have thought it would have made more sense to refurbish them as starter homes. Unfortunately I believe central government regeneration funding is linked to the achievement of a demolition quota.
