The former logo of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., an American multinational retailer corporation running chains of large discount department stores and warehouse stores, which is considered the world's third largest public corporation, its biggest private employer, and its largest retail chain. This logo was used by the chain from 1992 until 2008, and is a derivative of an earlier logo that had been employed by the chain for 11 years prior to that. In addition, this logo and its predecessor were both used by Wal-Mart's Canadian branch.
