This rune stone, which was 7 feet 3 inches long or high, about the same width at the bottom, and about 4 feet at its thickest, I had dug up from the ground in Nyested in Lolland, in Fiskergaden in the middle of the road that goes down to Skibs Broen . When it was excavated, it was hardly possible for 12 men with several poles to overturn it, without which I could not even have seen the writing. This stone must have previously stood at Tiirsted Church in Lolland. - S: Abildgaard. Dated 1765. 24 x 38 cm
