Beskrivning:

Lectotype partial cranium of the Brazilian False Rice Rat (Pseudoryzomys simplex) in lateral, dorsal, and ventral view and a mandible in lateral view, probably from a different specimen (Voss and Myers, 1991, p. 418). The illustration may be based in part on other specimens, as it shows some structures that are missing in the actual specimen (Voss and Myers, 1991, p. 418).
