Beskrivning:
SCREENSHOT of published photograph of comedian Oliver Hardy with his two nieces—Mary Sage (left) and Margot Sage—who were twin sisters from Atlanta, Georgia and the daughters of Oliver's half-sister Elizabeth (née Tante) Sage; both Mary and Margot were cast as extras in the 1934 Laurel & Hardy short The Live Ghost produced by Hal Roach Studios in Culver City, California; image from the trade magazine Picture Play (New York, N.Y.: Street & Smith Publications), volume XLII, number 2, April 1935 issue, p. 54; image captured and cropped for page formatting by Wikipedia contributor Strudjum on March 22, 2023. This photograph, although published in April 1935, was likely taken at Hal Roach Studios during the first week of November 1934, when The Live Ghost was being filmed. Both sisters are wearing clothing (including Mary's black beret) that is identical to how they appear in that comedy short.
