The pagoda was build by King Narapatisithu in the 12th century. The Dhammayazika temple is a brick pentagonal structure surrounded by five smaller shrines. The stupa is topped by a large, impressive bell shaped dome of pure gold. Old Bagan, Pagan, Mandalay, Myanmar.
