Beskrivning:
This grave-field ("Nycklabacken") contains about 200 ancient monuments. Here are 18 barrows, 149 round and one triangular stone-setting, 2 triangular graves with curved sides, and about 30 uprights stones. The field was mentioned in a travel book as early as 1791. In 1875 and in the 1950´s, nine graves were excavated in the southwestern part of the field. Along with burnt bones, there were some pottery sherds. In one grave there was also a bronze ring and in the another a piece of flint. The excavation proved that the dead had been cremated before burial. The finds date the field to latter part of the Iron Age. It served as a burial ground of a neighbouring farm.
