The picture shows the site at the Musa Dagh mountain where the 4000 Armenian People described in Franz Werfels book "The 40 days of Musa Dagh" resisted the attack of the Turkish army in summer 1915. The picture was taken by Andre Thess on 12 September 2015, the 100th anniversary of the rescue of the Armenians.
