Memorial plaque below HOUSE OF THE YEAR 1991: Tycho Brahe's sister Sofie Brahe lived on this site until her death in 1643. The building was erected for the Øresund Association. Burned down in 1860 and rebuilt as a brewery and malt house for brewer Carl Wiibroe. The building was extended to the east and fitted with a ridge gable in 1879-80 according to drawings by architect N.P.C. Holsøe. Holsøe. Converted into an office building 1989-1990. Chosen as house of the year by Helsingær Cityforening 1991.
