MRS. MARY MAURICE: this Vitagraph "mother lady" is a Philadelphian. During her long stage career, she appeared in support of Booth, Barrett, Jefferson, Modjeska and her last engagement was with Robert B. Mantell. She doesn't mind admitting that she is past sixty, but she has the heart of youth and is the best loved of screen mothers. She plays in both The Goddess and Thebattlecryofpeace.
