Map of Kherson from about the same time the city was founded or shorthly thereafter. The in-map texts are in Russian with an explanatory panel on the right with translations of these into Swedish. On the lower right the map is signed, in French, by its maker "Capitaine de la Myle". Captain de la Myle's full name was Bengt Georg de la Myle, a Swedish nobleman in the service of the Russian Empire.
