Magnus Jákupsson is a Faroese swimmer, born in 1994. Even if he is very young he has already sat quite a few Faroese records in swimming, not only junior records, but regular adult records. He participated in the European Junior Championship on long course in 2011 in Beograd. He didn't qualify for any final, but he sat five new Faroese records. His best result from the European Junior Championship 2011 was number 10 in 50 meter back stroke and number 13 in 50 meter butterfly. Jákupsson also participated in the Island Games 2011 in Isle of Wight. He won three gold, five silver and one bronze medal for the Faroe Islands.
